Relay.app shuts down: what changed

Relay.app is no longer available as an active service. The provider states on its official website that Relay.app shut down in September 2026 and that accounts, workflows and run history were permanently deleted. The former platform combined AI, SaaS connections and human approval steps for workflow automation.

For AgentenCode, this is more than a normal feature update. A discontinued product should not appear like a currently deployable option in Finder or Agent Fit. The Relay.app profile therefore carries a discontinued lifecycle state, while its historical product context remains available for reference.

The shutdown notice also contains a specific data statement: Relay.app says accounts, workflows and run history were permanently deleted. AgentenCode does not extrapolate that statement into unsupported claims about earlier retention periods or other historical privacy properties.

This distinction matters for old comparisons and recommendations. A historical feature description can remain accurate while the product is no longer available. AgentenCode therefore separates historical knowledge from current availability instead of deleting the profile or presenting it as an active option.
